Dr.
Ray Page serves as Medical Director for the Cancer Education and
Research Foundation of Texas. He was recently honored as the
2004 Distinguished Alumnus for the Graduate School of Biomedical
Sciences at North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth,
Texas. In addition, he was recognized as a Fellow of the
American College of Osteopathic Internists and named as
vice-chairman to the organization’s national oncology/hematology
section. He also was named as a Healthcare Hero by the Fort
Worth Business Press earlier this year.
Page and other members of Texas Cancer Care
staff recently received more recognition when they were invited
to present results from four clinical trials at the annual
meeting of the American Society for Clinical Oncologists (ASCO)
in June. Studies deemed of vital importance are presented
annually to the entire membership of oncology physicians. ASCO
is the world’s leading professional
organization representing physicians who treat cancer patients.
“Our patients are sometimes surprised that we are among the
leading clinical trial researchers in the nation for a
community-based physician practice. Our focus is on prolonging
and improving life with revolutionary treatment,” said Page.
